Sun Soaked Crossing

Many city walks in my childhood town of Manchester were taken after the rain had stopped falling. I recall the city glistening in the wetness and on one walk, the pedestrian crossing, with its black and white stripes mirrored the monochrome sky and blended in to the environment as if it were a natural part of it.

The original was painted on Heavy Mixed Media paper, using Acrylic paint applied with Knife and Brush. The physical version was 59cm x 42cm (A2) and sold to a private collector for £530.
